e41df385d7 (svn r12252) -Fix [FS#1801]: Broken FollowTrack_t related functions (thanks michi_cc).
-Fixed by removing FollowTrack_t structure and all related functions. Their purpose was to allow to call track followers from C code. They were:
  1. never used
  2. obsoleted by switching to C++

3ad488e98f (svn r11492) -Codechange: [OSX] Split the cocoa video driver into several files. The reason for this is that the fullscreen and windowed mode api are separate from each other in OS X and thus the driver actual is two drivers in one. f55fdfb7c4 (svn r11399) -Feature(ette): transparency settings can now be saved and thus remembered.
-Codechange: Wrap all transparency settings in accessors, hiding the implementation
-Change: Clicking "transparent building" menu will toggle Houses And Trees only.  The other options can be used in the transparency gui.

e5c352818d (svn r10266) -Codechange: keep track of the origin, time of travel and accumulated feeder share (transfers) of individual pieces of cargo. 45b662c679 (svn r8832) -Change: rewrite the solution file generator a little so it makes project files that look more like the ones generated by respectively MSVC2003 and MSVC2005.
For some reason the internal formatting of the XML between MSVC2003 and MSVC2005 differs, so adding a file in MSVC2005 would result in basically adding the entire openttd_vs80.vcproj to the diff.

This will permanently solve the issue where compilation on OSX broke because C++ code was added to some header files

   -Note: (important if you develop mac specific code)
   taken from http://developer.apple.com/releasenotes/Cocoa/Objective-C++.html           
    gdb lacks an integrated C++ with Objective-C parser. This means that gdb won't be able to evaluate expressions that contain both C++ and Objective-C constructs.
    gdb assumes that the language for ".mm" files is C++.
    you can change it to objective C by typing: (gdb) set language objc 
    Mixing C++ and objective C has some limitation (see link for all of them)

66bbf336c6 (svn r7759) -Merge: makefile rewrite. This merge features:
- A proper ./configure, so everything needs to be configured only once, not for every make.
 - Usage of makedepend when available. This greatly reduces the time needed for generating the dependencies.
 - A generator for all project files. There is a single file with sources, which is used to generate Makefiles and the project files for MSVC.
 - Proper support for OSX universal binaries.
 - Object files for non-MSVC compiles are also placed in separate directories, making is faster to switch between debug and release compiles and it does not touch the directory with the source files.
 - Functionality to make a bundle of all needed files for for example a nightly or distribution of a binary with all needed GRFs and language files.

Note: as this merge moves almost all files, it is recommended to make a backup of your working copy before updating your working copy.
