d53e8c3c58 Fixed linePlusBarChart so that it uses the xAxis scale instead of inventing a new one. Also optimized the axis object a little by creating a format object once per axis draw, not once per tick mark draw. Also removed redundant calls to the formatter. 2012-09-20 14:02:42 -04:00

993a4fe2c8 Added a new chart: multiBarTimeSeries which makes essentially duplicates the multiBar functionality, but makes internal changes to put a d3.time.scale on the bottom. 
Also added a build.sh for Linux distros. If yui-compressor exists, it will be used to generated the minified output.

73d5df06e6 Expose d3.svg.area().interpolate() as public member in stackedArea and

9b5a9f55b8 bugfix for .x() and .y() - see gist / http://bl.ocks.org/3192376 - clone that one, replace the 
<script src="./nvd3/src/models/lineWithFocusChart.js"></script>
in there which points at a clone of this commit to the nvd3 code repo without this fix and see the NaN's flying thick.

5f2f7de19a CSS tweak to ensure that browsers (Chrome) don't adjust the page size / scrollbar due to the tooltip divs sitting at the bottom of the page while being removed. (You get some pretty 'odd' scrollbar 'animation' in Chrome when hovering over a graph line, where tooltips pop in and out of existence while you hover.) 2012-07-28 16:21:11 +02:00

In a line+bar chart, the date was being set incorrectly due to the fact
we did not pass in the point index to the x-axis computation.

This fix passes it in, so now the tooltip can be calculated correctly.

8a08435415 Fix a bug where the tooltip might show an incorrect stream (#62) 
If you disabled a series in a multi-bar chart (either horizontal or
vertical), you would get incorrect tooltips. This was caused by the
fact that we only set the mouseover on the `enter()` elements, which
meant that nothing was being set when the chart was updated due to the
hiding. This caused us to close over the original value of the data

The fix is to set the mouseover on the entire selection, which updates
it every time the chart is updated. This also contains a small fix to
the horizontal multi-bar chart to have a more descriptive tooltip.

18713b6b19 Fix the ability to rotate labels (#22) 
It turns out there was a bug in d3 2.9.2 that made the transition
continuously override the text-anchor property. This was fixed here:
https://github.com/mbostock/d3/pull/684

This pull request contains d3 2.9.6, and also makes a small fix to
handle both negative and positive rotations. Finally, it updates the
discreteBarChart sample to use it.

ac3392519d Fix horizontal bar charts not updating correctly (#54) 
Horizontal bar charts didn't update correctly - the data that the width
was calculated by was bound to previous values.

The fix was to use `select()` instead of `selectAll` on the bars
themselves (since there is only a single `rect` element in each). This
is because `selectAll` doesn't propagate data bindings, per the
following links:

It works the first time because of the `.enter()` definition which will
