<p>Links can be separated into three types:</p>

<li>External links (prepended by <code>http://</code> or <code>https://</code>)</li>

<li>Internal links (relative path names)</li>

<li>Reference links (prepended by <code>ref://</code> and then followed by the chapter title) to refer to other chapters in the book**</li>

</ol>
