When I was a Peace Corps Volunteer, we used to get a kick out of calling fellow PCVs "white man" in local dialects across crowded marketplaces just to see the reaction before they realized it was a fellow American saying it. It's the closest I ever came to knowing what being famous is like. It's also the closest I've come to understanding why it's ok for certain racial terms to be used inside a group and not outside of them.

About 12 years ago I was at a crazy party in LA, around 2 AM I blacked out and the next morning I woke up in a roomful of sleeping people, a gag in my mouth and the most searing pain in my butt, I thought something really terrible had happened but within a few minutes DiCaprio came into the living room asking who wanted breakfast and I had that same thought.

It's a little weird that there's someone in the bushes filming this. The paparazzi are truly a strange bunch. Or whoever Leo got to film this.
If you look at the source video it's paparazzi. They probably knew about the meet up (you can see in the video that Leo arrives with friends) and camped out in a car to get the shots. Bunch of fucking creeps.

they're nothing more than an extension of the voyeuristic desires of society. Which is to say that they aren't creepy and trashy on their own. We as a society encourage and enable them. This thread is a perfect example of that.

God damn Jonah can inflate and deflate like a pufferfish for what ever role he is currently playing
He lost a ton of weight and from what I know, lost a lot of fame. Quoting him in Funny People, "There's nothing funny about a physically fit man" So strange that it actually played out exactly that way.
Jonah dresses exactly how I thought he would, Leonardo on the other hand looks like a dad on holiday looking for a cheap pub.
You can tell he's not shooting anything...he's gained a few pounds. Wait til the next movie he'll look thinner, unless the movie calls for a "dad" bod.

It's smart though, by dressing like someone middle class and very normal looking, you can enjoy a normal day out in the city. If Leo had dressed more fashionable in expensive clothes, people's eyes would have been drawn to him and he wouldn't have been able to enjoy his time in the city.

If I ever see my friends when I'm out and about I'll sneak up on them and try to mess with them in some way -- like I'll walk way too close to them, or pretend to dig into their wallets. Doesn't happen super often but it's always a laugh. Even normal people can pretend to be crazies!

Makes me a bit sad, that famous people get "attacked" like this on the streets. Yeah I understand the fans but I also think privacy and time for yourself is pretty important, even when you're a superstar.
Cry me a river. I'll trade my public privacy for a 48 foot sailing yacht and private island any day of the week. Let one of them walk around in my anonymity for a month, but with my income and problems and see how fast they run back to their poor, poor lives where fans just won't let them have a moment of shopping alone.
But what they have is their "brand," which is them. They get paid millions of dollars to say "I like this" or "I use this" and it's all because they are who they are. It's the deal they signed up for. It's not a secret or they get tricked into it, it's their life, that they agreed to.
Yeah you'd have to pay me ludicrous amounts of money to live that burden.

He didn't recognize Leo at first because of the glass and the hat. And Leo pretended to be an obnoxious fan running with his phone ,ready to take a picture.
His reaction makes me think that it's happened to him before. People just rush him for a selfie. Fans can be really annoying if you run into the wrong bunch. However, I do know a couple of people who have basically said that Jonah Hill is an absolute prick.
