I even read the title of the Youtube video, which said nothing about increased rate and thought "thats weird, why doesnt it mention that its sped up" and still waited until halfway through the chorus before I figured it out...

1:35 before I figured. This is the first time I've been genuinely rolld
I even thought I heard it speed up a couple of times and thought I was listening to it sped up. Then after about 6 "yous" I was like they're barely upping it up each time because I can barely notice it's changed much. Then I was like "hmm is this?", then saw 3:30 long and was like "no way it can't be -_-", then saw it was on the Vevo channel.

This was actually the first time that I have ever listened to the whole song
edit - I've listened to the first 3 seconds countless times. Shamefully, I'll admit that it took me over a minute to figure out that it was just as much of a trap as all the others. Had to see it through as I was in too deep at that point. Glad I did.

This is the second time I've been rick rolled in two weeks.
Best friend says "hey, I got you a present, should come to your house in a couple of week."
Me : hmm, weird. I forget my friend tells me this. A few weeks go by and I get a package in the mail from "rick a, Bakersfield, California."
Once again, Think huh, Weird. Open the package and Never gonna give you up begins playing.
